ScreamPrompt #28, September 2012In the hopes of maybe spurring more than 14 of you to write a story for the group this month... I'm going to have to do something drastic. I'm expecting stories from each of you because there is no excuse for not doing the following: I feel like making you all get introspective and personal. We're familiar with the tired advice of "write what you know", so that's what we're gonna do this month. There is no way there should be any stragglers with this one. You all know something, right?

Come one and come all, raise your pen take part in this grand literary battle! There are subscriptions, points, and more to be won! You all have until February 19th to enter.

The time is nigh for the Third Annual #Writers--club Literature Tournament!

This is a tournament for all writers welcoming prose and poetry!

It will be a grand competition spanning three rounds of literary challenge!

First of all, you must be willing to write for each of the rounds over the coming months.

There will be judging at the end of each round and those who progress to the next round will have to write a new piece for the next round's theme. A new participants list with the surviving writers will be released upon the announcement of the new round.

Tournament Rules

The tournament will have three rounds, each with a separate prompt.

Are you going to separate the pieces into age groups to make it fair for the youngest, or are you just judging as is? I don't mind either way, just wondering.

Unfortunately, since many deviants do not show their ages publicly or prefer not to tell us how old they are, we can't really spit everyone into groups that way.

Nevertheless, if we see a piece from a younger member who publicizes their age who made some mistakes but otherwise had good ideas, we do keep that in mind when judging.

We want to help everyone improve through our events and contests.
