Do you like DeviantART? How about YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, and much more?
Then SOPA and PIPA have the power to effect you drastically. These bills will take away your freedom to use the internet and go to the websites you love.
As a protest of #SOPA and #PIPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act) two pieces of legislation that are up for debate once again on January 18, 2012, I will not be online.
This applies to everyone! Share this message as much as you can and don't allow your freedoms to be stolen away.
These bills are not dead. Even gigantic websites like Wikipedia and Tumblr are taking part. However, this doesn't mean that you shouldn't take part; this movement needs you.

Then there is also the why the hell does logging in do anything? Well quite simply, it shows your support in stopping SOPA. One person does it, no one notices. But if millions upon millions do it, it is noticed both online by websites, as well as in Congress, and then worldwide. With websites like Wikipedia, who get 25 million hits a day, this is a pretty big deal."

And finally, on January 19th after the protest, the results of our contest along with information on the next round will be announced.
